Hi folks. I just learned some sad news. Legendary Turkish actor, Cuneyt Arkin (real name Fahrettin Cüreklibatir), passed away less than a month ago. He was 85 years old. I don't know if any of you know who that is but he was in a lot of low budget Turkish action films that were watched in the west for comedic value. Most people in the western world only found out about him because of things like Turkish Star Wars during the internet age. I haven't seen the film in it's entirety myself but it has given internet comedians lots of content since it was discovered. RIP to a legend. this actually looks so great i am gonna have to hunt down a copy i love how the star wars clips they stole were squashed and weird because they were filmed on anamorphic film but Turkish Star Wars wasn't so the tie fighters are like anorexic

Tragically, he was not in that one Turkish movie where Captain America and El Santo travel to Instambul to stop Spider Man's murderous criminal cartel.
