I’m glad he scored ultimately; missing the penalty and then the other relatively “easy” shot would’ve killed his confidence. Also his contract supposedly got renewed for another year this morning so Random dumb stat that made me smile: Giroud has 5 CL goals this campaign. The last time Milan had a player score 5 goals in the CL was 2012 and it was Ibrahimovic, who is Giroud’s “backup” now.
