kind of a mixed bag for me, pretty messy record. a lot of dull instrumental noise, a live performance of the stooges' i wanna be your dog in the middle. but a few solid tracks in there 'shaking hell' nice tense paranoid song. bad moon rising  pretty good imo, feels a lot more like a coherent album than their first. fave tracks 'ghost bitch' moody slow building kim gordon track and 'brave men run( in my family)' a pretty bright song relative to most of this early sonic youth stuff but mixed with tense anxious sections https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gx9Iub1LNmM
