I dunno if I don't have the right strain of bagel mould in my kitchen but bagels of various brands will happily last a couple of weeks for me without going mouldy or noticeably stale (after a week or two if they get drier I stick them in the toaster). I just assumed that they are like north-east Scottish butteries (best bread product) and are essentially eternal. costcos jalapeno cheddar bagels in particular will start going mouldy the second you pop the seal dont know what they're doing, but slice them in half, throw them in the freezer asap
