Something that bugs me is that one of the families offered Jones a substantially lower payout (like $70M?) and he refused. Does he know something we don't or would he rather drag himself through courts endlessly rather than admit defeat? I can't help but get the feeling this is his way of tormenting the families.

I think it's partially that, partially that he thought himself invincible, partially that he's an idiot.

Right now I'm on #364, covering April 21-22, 2013. After the Boston bombing, Alex flat-out says that if his community were given a stay-at-home request (not even an order!) he'd break it because you can't tell him what to do. He's a petulant man-child.

How much is he getting from the bankruptcy court to live on? Isn’t it something ridiculous like $50k/month?

We have legitimately been over this. Free Speech Systems has a court-appointed trustee, but I couldn't find any source that says Alex Jones has a trustee who might be controlling his personal finances. The courts aren't dictating how Jones spends his money while the bankruptcy is pending. I don't know where people are getting this idea that he's getting some sort of allowance from the courts.

For some laughs, here's a shot: https://news.bloomberglaw.com/bankruptcy-law/alex-jones-media-company-reorganization-doubtful-trustee-says And a chaser: https://news.bloomberglaw.com/bankruptcy-law/infowars-parents-bankruptcy-judge-considers-tossing-chapter-11 Looks like the FSS bankruptcy will get a decision in June, and FSS will not be able to reorganize.

I will gladly eat crow if I was. Serious question for those in the know, if it turns out Jones was obviously obfuscating his finances to slow this whole process down, is there a consequence for that? What would it typically be?

It is curious to me that PQPR was the first to recommend completely liquidating FSS. Its more curious that they are still able to argue their "debt" with FSS is completely legitimate and not a form of attempted bankruptcy fraud, even at this late stage.

I don't think anyone's looking to say "I told you so," especially upon the joyous occasion of Jones's destruction. What would it typically be? This would be fraud and it carries criminal penalties, including prison time. It's extremely unlikely that Jones is not committing at least one kind of fraud.

Anyone know which episodes of Knowledge Fight might be covering when Alex put on a donkey mask to screetch about operation 666? I remember seeing youtube clips of him going unhinged (), and I assumed it had to do with his court cases, but I can't remember the dates and I didn't have any luck searching in the archive.
