Imo balkans > caucasus > baltics Balkans have the serbs which makes them the best. Caucasuses still stand strong because Armenian food is dope despite being dragged down by the dullard countries that surround them, and the baltics are the bottom because I don't actually know what they contribute to the world outside of hitler memes.

Sort of a travelogue of a guy going through yugoslavia right before the civil war. I don't remember it very well but i remember it being interesting at the time

I don't know about pre yugoslavia stuff, but there really isn't much good stuff about yugoslavia and post yugoslavia. Most of the stuff written is by westerners who really didn't like the serbs or just untranslated. That being said I really enjoyed the following: Tito and His Comrades - A biography of Tito To Kill a Nation - Talks about the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia.
