Yeah those weirdos that expect a movie about a subject with 40 years of strict rules.

Ps, Judge Dredd sucked more than the suckest bunch of sucks that ever sucked. It was put the helmet ruining a classic movie.

Ok it’s kind of bad

Just in a very, very mainstream way.

Manhunter is just a really good movie. Silence of the Lambs was good, and Red Dragon was okay, but Michael Mann put together a really nice complete piece of work in Manhunter.

Yeah, yeah, I can’t disagree with that. I just want to make sure people know Red Dragon is not the preferred adaptation, it’s just that movie nobody remembers by the director we don’t hate

Lawrence of Arabia

I think it was Spielberg that said it has a flawless script. I thought so too until I watched it for the 30th time and realized the quicksand scene is a tad trite and forced. Other than that, Steve's right.

I can watch any of the Coen brothers films over and over. I've still never seen O brother, where art thou.

Also, there's something I love about the big short. Great movie.

Also, films like requiem for a dream, blow, and scarface are way better if you just stop the movie before they turn into a bummer lol. No lessons for me thank you.

I've found several I can't be tired of.
Solid choices I'd watch anytime
Dawn of the Dead(I'll watch the trilogy anytime I can sit down for it, but I won't skip Dawn if I can)
House on Haunted Hill(alternatively Last Man on Earth for my fave Vincent Price and i'll daily either)
Army of Darkness(kuz i dont hate fun)
There's a lot of other stuff I've seen over 20 times. I'd rather watch something I love than most new trash.

shout out to Shaun of the Dead and stuff like Tucker and Dale vs Evil. I love comedy horror that understands the niche it wants to be in.

It was a good movie and decent series I think. I remember the first and I think the third is the chick getting out the lab and like going way hard on the self inflicted harm thing.

This is a good list. I don't remember Phantasm that much and I haven't seen Bullitt but everything else there is great. I like classic horror as well. Someone mentioned Rosemary's Baby already, The Changeling (although I don't remember it, I love George C. Scott, see also Exorcist 3), Carrie, some of the Child's Play movies, The Omen (not my favorite but good, "It's all for you Damien!"), etc.

Exorcist 3 has one of the best jump scares in cinematic history.

I also love Scary Movie 2.

Most of mine have been mentioned already but I have seen Kung Fu Hustle like a million times. I prefer the original with subs but the dub is good and fun and has some different English-centric jokes. All of the fight scenes just have such dope choreography and it's got just the right balance of action and humor.

I loving love House (I assume we're talking the American one with norm from cheers since you said 80s).

It's the perfect blend of stupid and scary. House 2 maybe not so much, but I haven't watched it in a very long time maybe it's better than I remember.
