It took me a good goddamn week to download your admittedly excellent game known as Grand Theft Auto V since my Internet connection is about as good as a drunk Australian's on a good day. How's about not requiring me to download over 100 gigabytes of data just to play a game that I legally own you motherfucks, which in all probability will take me around two weeks of time I could be spending looking up porn, speedruns of better games and not buying shares of Take-Two Interactive.

A certain breed of gamedevs think it's entirely reasonable that their game should usurp your entire harddrive and require ten graphics cards in series to run well. Just buy more stuff, they say. Just get a better connection. These devs are usually sponsored by hardware manufacturers and should frankly be in prison, and as a gamedev i pray every day for the next video game crash to wipe the slate clean.

you have to download all this stupid data to play the game and then the game sucks because DEVELOPERS and then you figure well the game sucks but I could have fun in multiplayer and then you realize your team is full of NOOBS and OHHH MY GOOOD I can dress <barely legal character> in tight pants and a halter top for...29.99???!!! A lot of the time they leave unused assets with the game data, and a lot of the reason why the game downloads are so big is because the audio isn't compressed. I can't tell the difference between uncompressed and compressed audio, and would love the option to have a smaller download size. Doesn't matter though, if they wont optimize their games why would they delete assets and files that their games no longer need?
