op you get it so there's just a bit of tape on one hand and then you stick the sticky loose end to a bunch of dusty stuff/loose cat hair, and then you use the no-longer-sticky bit to grab it alternatively get just a bit of a loose end and stick that to the garbage bag liner and pin it there with your free hand and then peel away i work with tape a lot and have learned to Tape Escape
