So far, this seems to be cleverly sadistic in a finely-tuned way, but rarely comes across as cheap. The far-left gear on the bell boss being the big exception - it looked effectively impossible to destroy it unless you did it first or second

The layered gimmicks are making me really look forward to the post-Master stage where the designer can combine things even more. That is, assuming that this follows the pattern of most MM games.

It very blatantly is - even hitting the bosses directly with the Soul Trap does more damage than the uncharged Buster or the laser. It isn't as if Nat and Tea didn't figure that out either - they just decided that exploiting it was too finicky.

One of the funniest things about this LP is the early discussion about if the penalties for Roll were fair or not. Now it is clearly "they absolutely are not, Roll is incredibly overpowered".

The faint trace of the rescued bosses' attacks is a good touch. Gives you the chance to figure out what's going on if you rescued everybody, and thus feel like you accomplished something.
