long hair should count as a scarf. frankly it’s ridiculous to own and wear a head cover if nature has already given you a perfectly good one for free.
if it’s anyone, bald men should be the ones forced to cover

As a bald, you are in fact forced to learn this lesson the first time you go hatless for an extended length of time on a hot and sunny day.
It's probably not common knowledge how horrific head sunburns are. Aside from just the general pain, the peeling is a nightmare, especially if (as is likely) you're freshly bald so still have a lot of hair follicles to disrupt an even peel.
I made this mistake one time only, and never again. If I leave the house, there is something on my head.
