To kick it off, what’s everyone’s favourite short non-Metroid, non-Castlevania Metroidvania. Is there anything perfectly suited to blasting through in a cozy afternoon or weekend?

Cave Story feels too obvious so I'm gonna instead make the case for Risk of Rain 1, which definitely isn't (it's a roguelike w/ linear progression and no back-tracking), but scratches a similar itch
