If you have a problem Yo, I'll solve it

Heya -

Just upgraded my lab, added another poweredge 720 to the mix. Looking to find some kind of software I can install on my desktop that monitors the servers and can give me views of status without having to keep a few idrac pages open. Any recommendations? I looked at the dell site but the open manage server administrator software says it only works on a single machine.

Anything you'll find ready-made for the task at hand will likely be enterprise-grade with an enterprise price tag, and would require a central management server that you access through a web browser. Dell's product is called OpenManage Enterprise.

For lab use, you can cobble some basic monitoring together by using SNMP to query the iDRAC cards for each server and then present that data in a dashboard tool like Grafana.
