Kid's blasting everything in sight with that new-fangled musket.

Any of those five teams could finish 2nd, just depends who manages to be more consistent through the season. And squad depth is probably going to be a pretty big deal too.

Yeah it's too early to say a team will finish 2nd when we haven't even reached the main point of the season where everyone's hamstrings will start popping

October is going to break some teams. Too many games in a month.

Haaland plays like a young Zlatan but without the ego, he really is unreal in terms of both physical ability and technique. But it's not like City have had a tough schedule so far, not have they started their own fixture congested streak. It's early to say Arsenal will be top 4 by the end of the league and it's early to say Haaland will break every goal scoring record.

Cool that prem clubs are now going to be terrified of being made fun of for signing a small defender and will pivot to only signing immobile league one shithouses

He's been probably Man Utd's best player, together with Eriksen, so I'm not sure how that follows.

It's 8 games so I get your point, but it doesn't look like any team is that good so far. Haaland could blow out his knee or w/e but I don't see him going through a dry spell for long

Haaland's not even going to the world cup, so that's a month to rest for gim

West Ham are only playing relegation fodder all month, fancy a nice run of wins and top 8 by Halloween

e: i suppose fulham are Not Bad so that might be a stumbling block, but soton, bournemouth, liverpool and manchester united is at least 10 from 12

This weekend was what, matchweek 8? There’s going to be so much of the league left after the World Cup break, and that’s without the delayed round due to the Queen passing away.

This week is going to be a march for all of the teams in Europe, and then…a World Cup :v:

Marsch gonna need to come up with a plan B when teams figure out how easily bypassed Leeds press is or he’s gonna be gone by the World Cup break I think. Palace went from being on the ropes in the first half to basically dominating in the 2nd by just going around the press.

The board also hosed up by relying on the ghost of an injury prone Bamford and a streaky Rodrigo instead of going out and getting another starting forward.

His plan B is to cry to the FA when the opposition doesn't play how he wants them to.
