I'm not sure what the Jays could reasonably do to improve their pitching. They paid for good-sized contracts with Ryu and Berrios, Ryu is out and is a question mark for next season, and Berrios wasn't good. Pearson was supposed to be their #1 Prospect, but he'll never pitch another inning at the major league level. The pitching just isn't there, and without pitching, there's nothing.

Sounds like another rotation spot opened up. Unfortunate to lose Stripling but should be survivable easily enough.
