Wow, this is a weird thread to see as a shy person who keeps mostly to the background.

But hey, I'm apparently doing everyone's sigs for this autumn/halloween, so feel free to drop by the thread to request one if you like.

And while I have your attention, a bit of in-forum self promotion:

Here's a thread to share fun "TV" series you may have watched and also featuring stuff I'm currently watching and recommend.

Here's a thread for one of my favorite comic book authors, which I update whenever a new story starts (there's a new one starting this Monday). The thing that attracts me to Allison's work is not only his whimsy, fun stories, or British humor (those are all great), but also the fact he continues to be one of the very few male creators with any sensitivity to write female characters -- I don't know why that's a rare quality, but it is.

Finally, if you have never heard of (or only have a passing familiarity) with the character to the left of this post (Miku), she's the face of a rather creative, indie music movement in Japan (and elsewhere). Here's a thread with a bunch of music recommendations from this "genre" if you want to dip into those waters.

also thank you for your good suggestions of films! also also it seems like every season there is one person who looks at the burden and says "i can carry this." it's been me a few times and i love it very much but i love even more to see someone spread their sig wings and fly.
