I've met way too many people who have just started university who say they know all about the internet because they've always had it, duh, but have a disturbing lack of internet hygiene. It disturbs me. Why yes, I know all about the internet, it's always been there and I've never questioned it. Now I'm totally going to a party with no one I know because someone who messaged me a few times invited me. That's just how it is now, ya know?

Consumer products (especially cars) should have buttons and switches instead of touchscreen or menu-based controls. And those controls should be labeled using english text, not inscrutable icons or hieroglyphics that are like taking an IQ test when you just want to find the high beams. Also: banks, supermarkets, etc. should be staffed with humans who can provide actual loving customer service in the event that you have a problem or need something a little out of the ordinary.
