The alien new enemy intro screen is so sick, maybe even better than the bayo2 angel enemies one. The intro+prologue chapter were fine but chapter 1 got me fully fuckin hype. I was sold completely when Gomorrah started waterskiing on four speedboats cackling through that whole section

I read the title of Chapter 9 and then had to go to work, I just know my fave demon is gonna be in that one lol Love that there hasn't been a single boss only chapter all the way up to this point in the game, it's awesome

ranking my combat has never gotten on my nerves in these but what really kills me is seeing how many combat encounters I'm missing each chapter. Where are these fights happening? How am I this blind lol

I've thoroughly scoured each level looking for collectibles and witch hearts/moon pearls and I've only missed a few verses so far, the optional verses seem way less dumb to trigger than they are in bayo 1 and 2 lol

Finished my first playthrough. I'll hold off on thoughts until more people are done but I loved it, certain parts of the end sequence blew my mind lol. Can't wait to spend a lot more time with this game.

I love playing bayonetta. The new movement mechanics are sick, the dual weapon you get in chapter 9 is incredible and I’m launching dudes and zipping between them with the air dash. wink slave is a goomba stomp every time

Just finished chapter 12, another standout climax , and I am laughing like an idiot at the weapon you get after that fight. I think the demon you get from the previous chapter might be the strongest one yet the tower gives you on demand witch time

I was skeptical of the demon summons at first because they have smaller movesets but just throwing them in as combo finishers or tossing an instant summon attack into your normal combat doesn’t break the flow at all. most of their animations are incredible, can’t imagine the amount of work that went into them
