Haven't played Psyker for a long while!

Must’ve been on your veteran then… I don’t see many Shells on this game. I definitely feel like I played with a Shellcoat earlier.

Working on all 3 of my right-side-of-tree zealot penances at once (throwing knives, loner backstabs (what a poo poo penance), and momentum) and I gotta say…going from a melee character with tons of +Impact to a melee character with a lil dagger has resulted in me taking so much more damage. Obviously a skill issue but I really haven’t figured it out lol. Making good progress on the penance and getting tons of team rescues though. It actually pisses me off because the shroud field is an offensive ability on paper but extremely loving good at rescuing teammates and looking back at all the shroud zealots I’ve had during my playtime, the vast majority use it to gently caress off and do some damage while people finished bleeding out.
I gave up trying to be useful in higher difficulties with this build, and still getting blades of faith kills. Going to dif 2 or 3 lets you easily one-shot specialists and gunners with knives, and 2s are mostly empty except for the random Auric Maelstrom Survivor that's speedrunning it to get Melk's weekly bounties out of the way.

After a few more hours with it I’m more comfortable with it. It’s just a higher effort build and it is what it is. I sneak off to stab stuff in the back 30-40 feet in front of the team, hordes are fine but annoying, and I farm trappers, tox flamers, rager/shotgun/hound packs for throwing knife kills. I’ve also found that certain missions are excellent for backstabbing ranged units outside of coherency, like anything where you “make a stand” and random trash ranged units show up constantly you can just kind of chill there and spam shroudfield every 8 seconds using a high crit dagger, blazing piety, and the crit CDR. The one with the prismata crystals for example.

Give me your drip tips:

- Nothing seems to get the "crackhead with a knife" vibe to satisfaction

- So generic
- Also have access to Scions helmet, but pretty well like what I have here.

The best match for the knife is the Heavy-Grade Grit Shirt that’s just, like, a tank-top

If they’d put shirtlessness back in that’d be great, too

What are y’alls’ thoughts on Hit & Run IV? I have it on my Columbus mk5 on my stealth zealot and I know utility/defensive blessings on guns aren’t the MOST in vogue but it seems pretty good. For context, immunity to ranged attacks for 1s on close range kill.

The shemagh look here is really nice paired with the high cuff pants and strappy boots, and the gone-camping backpack ties it all together. Big fan of what I'm seeing in all these fits.
