How This Works I have drawn a series of trading cards, Virtumon, virtual monsters. There are currently at least 77 monsters, and cards have been made for around 50 of them (with more monsters and more cards being made daily). Whenever I feel like it, I will Draw A Card from a deck of random cards and assign it to a random poster who has signed up ITT. Every assignment happens via a Random Number Generator and every poster has an equal chance to get each drawn card. Naturally, some posters will be luckier than others. There will be duplicates, you might even get your own duplicates! But some cards are special. There is a 5% chance that a Virtumon is Chromatic There is a 5% chance that a Virtumon is Glowy There is a 5% chance that a Virtumon is Glowy Chromatic And there is a 5% chance that a Virtumon is Monochrome The remaining 80% of Virtumon are Regular How to sign up Post the word Join in bold somewhere in this thread. YOU WILL NOT BE COUNTED UNLESS YOU DO THIS. I will draw one card for you after you join. Beyond that, it's all in the luck of the draw. I hope you believe in the heart of the cards! Note: I do not have an easy way to track your Virtumon Card Collection for you, and doing something like editing them into the OP is too much work for my ADHD-riddled brain, but I will try. I would recommend collecting and displaying them on your own somewhere, perhaps in your first post ITT. MECHANICS: Shredding You may Shred any Virtumon in your collection to receive a currency called Protagonist Points (PP). The PP values are: 1 for any "Common" rarity. 3 for any "Mythological" rarity. 2 for any other rarity. +1 for Glowy or Chromatic type. +2 for Glowychromatic type. +5 for Monochrome type. Future dumb ideas include: Some way for players to pit their Virtumon against each other in a fight to the death Reward coins that can be spent on things like recoloring Virtumon. Possibly some kind of upgrade-evolution system either from coins or from winning battles? A dumb RPGMaker videogame where you can fight Virtumon
