I HEX YE!!!

Problem description: I'm giving my kid an old laptop I never use for Christmas, so I did a factory reset on it. Nothing fancy, just the built in one in the settings. Apparently that also deleted the Bios and everything so now it's stuck in a boot loop.

Attempted fixes: I downloaded the Windows 10 boot stuff of MS's website and ran that, but whenever it attempts to run the laptop just shuts right off, and if I turn it back on it goes back to the boot loop.

Recent changes: I trusted the factory reset to not delete OS related stuff

Operating system: I'm pretty sure it's a Windows 10 system. Definitely windows and it was manufactured 2018

System specs: It's an HP 15-bw028ca

Location: Canada

I have Googled and read the FAQ: Yes, couldn't find anything that matched
