GOTY: Elden Ring. It's Elden Ring Honourable Mention: Apex Legends I've never got super into any FPS before, I've played some Overwatch but it never clicked for me the way Apex has. It's also a perfect game to play with friends, as you get some downtime to talk between fights, and the actual fighting is much deeper than I would have expected from a FPS style game. I've played 100s of hours of this. Honourable Mention: Slay the Spire I'd played this a bit before but I got into it properly this year and finally understood why it's still the best of its subgenre, there's so much you can do with it. Amazing Impy: CrossCode I've just made a big post gushing about this in the games beaten thread, it's got some issues but what I'll remember most are the insane intricate puzzles and laughing at the interactions between all the characters.
