Problem description: I'm trying to open port 9000 so I can share a private torrent with a friend using qBitorrent (yes it is legal, it is just very big). Attempted fixes: I have set up a static IP for my computer with the following settings: I set up port forwarding on my router: and opened the port in my firewall: https://www.portcheckers.com says the port is closed. Tested with firewall off. Tried all the different protocol choices in the router and firewall settings. Restarted computer and router multiples times. qBittorent says "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it." Recent changes: n/a -- Operating system: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit System specs: Archer C7 router, Kaspersky 21.3.10.391(j), connected to router through 5ghz WiFi Location: United States I have Googled and read the FAQ: Yes

Can you change the protocol to TCP/UDP and see if that makes it work. Everything looks correct.
