By definition all these companies are too incompetently managed to run a Netflix, any MBA would probably try rising the price to $60/mo to match cable. So, hopefully bring down a cable network? 8K monitors are the obvious entry in 2023, but more interesting is the OLED and micro-LED kit from LG and Apple. Vulkan should finally get onto the desktop inside Chrome and Edge, which means ARM and Risc5 have the potential of being competitive platforms with rando GPUs. Most things seem slowing down, idk who gives a poo poo about Windows 12? I have a new kitchen range and hood, and both are Wi-Fi enabled. The range, ok, one can check on the phone if accidently left the stove on, been using a Blink camera for that. The hood is ridiculous, it seems to only work with a Wi-Fi range of the same vendor and is used to synchronize the light controls So more stupid Wi-Fi / Thread / Matter controlled poo poo that confuses the crap out of everyone. More Wi-Fi standards that are faster than any interwebs connection I can ever get installed. JavaScript 2 with optional type safety, especially the confusing version number. More people wanting to replace Docker & Podman with WASM. France will write a law against some form of AI, for some benign reason like protecting French authors. Random tedious milestones in AI being used for stories, books, cartoons, "news", etc. MrMoo fucked around with this message at 22:02 on Dec 27, 2022 |

5G advertising would have to be supported by Google, only at their scale would it be viable, and they don’t really care about real world advertising too much. They could easily dominate the market with little effort, but clearly no interest.
