This Vikings team made me realize I've gone from not caring about my childhood team anymore to actually being annoyed by them. Mostly because I have to keep politely explaining no I don't care about that big comeback or that new wide receiver. I really want them to crash and burn in the playoffs. Yeah this seems like it should be an incredibly fun run with the Vikings pulling win after win out of their rear end. I mean my god that Bills game alone with the fumble in the endzone, and then the comeback against the Colts. They've had some of the most exciting games of the year as someone who doesn't even care about the team. Also Jefferson is on pace to set the all time receiving yards single season record. Not trying to tell anyone else how to feel but watching your team flip a coin heads like 200 times in a row sounds pretty cool.

They're basically the anti-Vikings this year and it rules. I'm not expecting them to make it to the Super Bowl or anything but I really wouldn't be surprised at them winning or losing basically any game. It's not like they've just been winning close games against trash teams either, they've beaten a solid number of teams with winning records. I do think they will be genuinely scary if the defense gets its poo poo together and they get a bit more consistent on offense though.

I guess I'll clarify I'm not a Vikings fan anymore. But I was such a huge one for so long I have to hear about them anyways. I've also watched like three full NFL games all season because I usually end up in the kitchen bullshitting.
