So what exactly is the job of these nfl spotters?

They pulled Bridgewater for nearly nothing, but left Tua in the game against Green Bay. I watched in real time and missed it completely - but if your job is to spot stuff like this, that head hit looks violent enough to warrant a question. Why isn’t this happening?

a few weeks AFTER claiming the whole Devante Parker thing - which had the ACTUAL PLAYER OPENLY COMPLAIN ABOUT IT - was actually handled properly.

Is there just zero accountability?

You obviously can’t count on the nfl doc or Miamis doc - we’ve all seen that - but it feels like everyone just keeps saying “well we tried. We’ll improve!”

They just don't exist in any meaningful capacity until a disaster happens, then show up for a game or two until the body politic forgets and they're back to not existing.

Like in response to Parker, the Pats game had one this week, and they pulled Hunter Henry after he got clearly concussed (he was already off the field in the tent already when they announced he was pulled).

Oh wow I wasn’t aware of that. I think you’re exactly right

Wish this would’ve come out right after Miami beat Buffalo and Tua comforted Josh.

Sounds like Mike Scott’s got a buyer for his used core blaster. It’s used by the marines, you know?!

Wait what's this have to do with each other? They weren't rivals at all. Is this some dogwhistle type of poo poo from the same forum where they allowed a thread titled N*****R to stay up for months? If not who cares about this comparison?

I'm not even a Panthers or Pats fan but boy howdy this seems extra petty for no reason.

Lmao perfectly normal response right here

I just realized Pickett threw 3 picks after his concussion, too. Seems to be the trend.

It's not exactly a rarity that a concussion doesn't have symptoms until later, and his media availability after the Packers game was normal.

They don't exactly deserve a loving medal for it all things considered but the Dolphins putting a guy who didn't report symptoms into the concussion protocols based on film review while the playoffs were on the line is pretty much the high water mark of the NFL's concussion protocols.

The irony here being it’s clearly an nfl problem.

The Steelers sent Kenny Pickett out there against the Ravens earlier in December after he was concussed. A series later the spotter pulled him. And this was Kenny’s second concussion (earlier in the season he started the very next game after suffering a concussion in the previous game) so you’d have assumed the nfl would be more focused on him, much like you’d have assumed they’d be focused on Tua. But alas, nope.
