The stars aren't in the right places.
Rutibex, thanks a lot for making a dedicated thread for this stuff!

Here are some of mine, re-imaginations of cards from Arkham Horror. The originals are on the left, mine are on the right and use a different ruleset.

I'm using a combination of Midjourney and Open Office Draw (lol). Any layout feedback is appreciated. I put the art on top in the enemy card, which is different than Arkham Horror's layout. I still need to make new attribute icons that aren't just colored versions of stuff from thenounproject.com

I also put the encounter set icons in the upper left corner to save space in the center.

Thanks, I tested MJ's icon-making abilities and it did pretty well, though .25/.25 inches was a bit too small for my printer to get all the details. The upper-middle blue icon was a bit too dark, and the upper-right yellow one is too light, especially with the tan background, but I can go back and change them.

Here's how it came out looking after being glued to on a 2.5/3.5 sized cardboard:

Is GIMP the go-to for card layout formatting? I feel pretty primitive using Open Office Draw.

Thus far, I've experienced it be not dissimilar to how I'd use a deck of tarot cards to help me brainstorm when I was writing. Stuck in resolving a chapter? Unsure what happens next? Don't know where to go? Just lay out three cards and see if the combination of random imagery and symbolism jogs anything and gets the writing going again.

Yeah, that's great. During an "office hours" session on Discord, David Holz (MJ CEO) talked a bit about Midjourney as an "imagination augmenter" rather than a wholesale replacement for imagination/creativity, which I like. Limited AI that aids in brainstorming is the sweet spot for me in terms of how I enjoy using it and seeing others use it.

The "In the World" Midjourney Discord channel is full of stuff people have used text-to-image tech for in their businesses and hobbyist stuff. It's only a matter of time until the first salable Monster Manual or Expanded Spellbook whatever that uses GPT-3 comes out, I think.

That's a very nice cast. I like the chubby matchmaker lady's expression a lot somehow. Hope you let us know how the campaign is going!
