I was gonna say it would be awesome if they all somehow died so those movies would stopped, but then I realized we've broken through to the whole multi-verse thing now so they'd just re-cast as a diff version of the character and move on. or pull a whole new set of heroes to the screen, there's a whole stable of 'em. sigh. never escaping the comic book movie cycle.

My guess is that he got out of the vehicle to clear something left it running. Looks like you have to climb on the track to get in. If he slipped climbing in and disengaged the clutch on the fall i could see that thing pulling him right out and under.

Either that or Disney'll get the rights to their superhero likeness so they can be digitally photoshopped onto their stunt doubles. Pretty sure it's already happening.
