jbl figured out that people are paying stupid big money for old noisy silver audio components with leaky caps that double as space heaters so they made new ones that I assume work properly

I think the music streamer is the dark horse since the few that are actually in 17" cases are even more expensive than the $800 that costs and old school stereo dudes don't like seeing a weird sized plastic thing like a bluesound node or sonos port in their rack

never owned a classic piece of stereo equipment, but, eh, those look nice.

the "luxury audio" jbl stuff like that is made by a totally separate team of dudes in los angeles who are all in the target demographic to actually buy that type of stuff
