The folk icon of a "goblin" is tied up with old antisemitic stereotypes - as such it is no mystery why their depictions resemble the caricatures of Jews as goblinesque crooks (or vice versa) or why the banks in Harry Potter are run by a race of goblin creatures.

I've stabbed multiple "friends" of mine in the past for casual use of goblin imagery and won't hesitate to kill any posters who do the same
