My friends rave and swear by Waffle House. It's apparently a magical place where you can get dinner and a show, especially around the midnight hours. For my non-American friends, Waffle House is a 24 hour chain diner, mostly around the southern US. It serves apparently very amazing breakfasts full of grease and lard. You can feel your arteries hardening while you eat! According to my friends, it's where America truly can be itself, a raw distillation of everything that makes America terrible and great at the same time. But yet, I have never been to this restaurant! So I turn to you, posting pals: have you been to Waffle House? What's your thoughts about this franchise? What's the craziest story you have about Waffle House? I must know!

Food is trash, only by pure luck does it have a reputation other than inedible garbage food. Even the higher end fast food places do a way better breakfast
