But, I had a bar manager that used to like to post really demeaning poo poo around the kitchen staff area about tracking in snow and leaving coats around and poo poo. He got told to knock it off, manage the bar, and stop hanging aggressive notes. He eventually was forced to quit after losing his cool and telling off a crowd of black people that they were "loving up the bar for everyone else" lol. It was not well received. The point is, we had pretty good management there who weren't aggressive racist maniacs and it would have sucked balls for everyone working there if this one guys behaviour went viral and caught the attention of national media. He was dealt with responsibly and firmly. I can only imagine the deluge of hate mail this unremarkable ski resort got in 2019 from true proles carrying the internet torch for workers everywhere.

I used to be a preschool teacher and one winter, we had some nasty ice storms. My boss sent out a memo saying if we thought we wouldn’t be able to make it to work with the ice, we should spend the night with a coworker who lived close enough to walk to work. I really, really wish I was joking.
