Games and sick maps go hand in hand. Here are some of my favorites. Inspired by the Battle Frontier thread. Skies of Arcadia world map:  Such a cool and unique map. It actually evolves over the course of the game, and the one shown here is before poo poo goes down during the story. The Forbidden Lands: Shadow of the Colossus:  This map starts off shrouded by clouds that fade away as you explore. Exploring this world is one of my most treasured gaming memories. Hyrule: Zelda 1 and 2  It's so cool how these two games link together. And the latest addition to my favorite gaming maps: Dragon Quest 2.  The way Alefgard from Dragon Quest 1 is shrunk down and placed into a mere fraction of this world is just  Will post more maps as I think of them, and I'm sure you guys have some favorites too.

I still have the Final Fantasy 6 fold out world map that came with the game in my closet. It's beat up to poo poo, though.

Golden Sun 1 takes place on a relatively small chunk of this map and as far as I can remember there's no reference to the world being atop a giant ocean plateau with waterfalls on every edge in the first game. pretty mindblowing stuff as a kid
