I kind of like guillemets - «these» quotation marks. They're officially correct in Norwegian, though they're not on the keyboard and everyone just uses "straight quotes" instead. The argument for guillemets is that they flow better visually since they're the size of and in the position of a lower case letter, and they make it really obvious what's inside and outside the quote marks. There's a also a single variant, for when you «have to ‹nest› your quotes». What is madness, however, is the way Danish uses them: Like little »arrows« pointing at the quote.
