George looks so weird in this pic. If I didn't know the drivers' ages and you asked me which Mercedes driver was pushing 40, I would think it was him

Of all the things to complain about, the F1 theme is one of the best crafted sports themes currently on TV. The incorporation of the iconic nyeeooom from the sport is on a level not achieved by any other TV theme. It's great.

Yeah, there's been many cars that were further ahead of the field but they all had lovely reliability. The Williams of 1992 was so far ahead of the field 3rd place was often more than a 2023 entire field behind but Mansell retired 4 times, Max only didn't win 3. Red Bull only didn't win 1 but both Williams retired twice, in fewer races.

Jeez, that just led me to glance down the list, Tarquini started 13 races in 1992. He retired from 12.

poo poo his pants twice in close succession no less, and then everyone in front of Pecco shitted their pants too. Awful lot of pant making GBS threads going on in Spain over the weekend.

What happened with Bez where Marc crashed him out? I didn't even know that until after the race, how can they not show that five times on replay?

Also I remember when I started watching MotoGP, right around when Marc graduated up to the top, it was as boring as F1 is now. Nobody passed anybody. Jorge won every time. And then Marc won every time. Nicky and his revolving teammates were 8/9 every time. Never could have imagined the totally wacky poo poo going on since 2020. Like only 1 of the top 10 championship bikes are Japanese now. I don't think that's happened since 1963 or some poo poo.

IM SO BAD AT ACTUALLY TALKING ABOUT F1 IN ANY MEANINGFUL WAY SOME DUDE WITH TOO MUCH FREE MONEY WILL KEEP CHANGING IT UNTIL I SHUT THE FUCK UP OR ACTUALLY POST SOMETHING THAT ISNT SPEWING HATE/SLURS/TELLING PEOPLE TO KILL THEMSELVES
It is kind of insane how quickly the flip from Japanese to European manufacturers dominating happened.

I started watching 2015 (lol), the modern simplified electronics and Michelin era definitely fixed the racing because 2017 was like a crazy good season

There was a race or two this year where no Honda scored a point. And I don't think there was a single race where every full time rider started.

And it's all ended with a team being kicked out of the sport.
