As far as Bears Podcasts go, the best one is Hoge and Jahns, kinda by far.

Hoge and Jahns are pretty good, though I prefer Hoge's work on CHGO

CHGO I follow, but you kinda have to be a specific type of person. Daily hour long podcasts about mostly nothing are just too loving much.

They're good to have on while I'm WFH. Same with 670 Chicago, though I miss Leila Rahimi...she and Bernstein worked well together.

yeah the Bears went on a run when their offense worked, but their defense couldn't stop anyone, as they traded, Quinn, and Ro. EJax got hurt, and essentially their defense was nothing but rookies, Justin Jones, Morrow, and Jaylon Johnson(who also got hurt). They pretty clearly couldn't stop anyone.

Their secondary played pretty well down the stretch, but they had literally no pass rush.

The Bears essentially finished the season how people wanted them to play the entire season, Fields showing promise, and a poo poo ton of losing.

Gordon and Brisker both were concussed for the same 2 weeks after getting hurt in the Atlanta game

This is a cheesy puff piece, but I do love that there's seemingly more transparency about things with the new leadership

And here I thought getting pantsed in Soldier Field week 1 at home by the Packers was the low point of the season. Whew.

I am always impressed at how creative the Bears are when they choke, but this is an absolutely legendary choke job all around. Just the most Bears thing ever.

Rewatching the play where Fields got hurt and it's really a microcosm of everything that's wrong with him / proof it's not just the team/coaching failing him.

https://twitter.com/Vikings/status/1713628568100458947

He's got a clean pocket for like 4 seconds, during which time he doesn't pull the trigger on what appears to be an open pass to DJ Moore, both as an anticipatory throw and for a moment as a throw where he's just plain out of his break and has space around him:

Then he feels a bit of pressure so he flushes out of the pocket, but instead of that setting off a timer in his head, he remains locked on Moore, which means he misses a wide-open easy dumpoff to Evans who has enough space to give him a shot at getting the first:

Then after squaring up for a moment without throwing, he turns around and straight-up spots Hunter imminently closing in on him:

Instead of just cutting his losses and safely eating the sack or maybe eking out a throw to Evans or out of bounds to avoid the sack, he tries and fails to outrun him before desperately flinging the ball toward the sideline (after he was ruled down by contact). Sack comes 6+ seconds after the snap. Ugly stuff

I was screaming when I saw this. No QB in this league regularly has the amount of time in the pocket Justin needs to feel confident to make a basic throw. Instead he tries to do some heroic poo poo and hurts himself landing awkwardly. Chicago has broken this man.

Schefter is saying Swift is doing 3yr 24.5 with the bears.

Don't think that's a good move by the bears imo

Looks like Pollard got an identical deal. If that's the market rate, getting Swift over Pollard I think is a big win.

I will continue to cheer for Justin Fields and I'm glad that he went to a perennially winning franchise where he could actually compete for a starting spot. I believe Justin can be great, but he clearly needs work the Bears were unable to provide. Hopefully Tomlin and the Canada-less Steelers can give Justin the rebound he deserves.
