Man united just got beat 7-0 which is as good a time as any for the march thread. In other prem news Leeds are bad (but not as bad as previously), we're still waiting for Arsenal to implode in comical fashion, Spurs got into the top 4 while nobody was looking, and Everton are still stinking the place out. City are there as well (boring, no one cares)

1 Arsenal 26 20 3 3 34 63
2 Man City 26 18 4 4 41 58
3 Man Utd 25 15 4 6 6 49
4 Tottenham 26 14 3 9 10 45
5 Liverpool 25 12 6 7 19 42
6 Newcastle 24 10 11 3 18 41
7 Fulham 25 11 6 8 5 39
8 Brighton 23 11 5 7 14 38
9 Brentford 23 8 11 4 7 35
10 Chelsea 25 9 7 9 -1 34
11 Aston Villa 25 10 4 11 -7 34
12 Crystal Palace 25 6 9 10 -11 27
13 Wolves 26 7 6 13 -16 27
14 Nottm Forest 25 6 8 11 -24 26

Kid's blasting everything in sight with that new-fangled musket.

Being in third with a goal difference of six is insane. Lots of narrow wins and a handful of absolute shellackings.

Newcastle have scored a solitary point since this time last month.

While I'm doing basic sums, the gap from 1st to 4th is 18 points which is the same as the gap from the bottom of the table up to 7th :eyepop:

The previous record for Liverpool's biggest competitive win vs Manchester United was set six years before the death of the queen.

Queen Victoria.

edit: Probably letting my worldview jar my view, but reading that West Ham (as a club) made donations to the conservative party and are full on ranty-ravey about how the independent government regulator is a bad idea because the "free market will fix everything", after being given a sweetheart deal for the Olympic Stadium.. makes me hope they end up in League Two. Give some lower league teams a chance to go to London to beat them.

didnt see the match but from the highlights it looks like united went all in on "We're Good Again Now... The United Way" and decided to play 8 up front after the second goal, confirm/deny?

He can't kill me. I'm indestructible. Everybody knows that

Spurs getting back on the failure track after falling into an unimaginably good position one week ago. Staying consistently awful to watch though.

All I have is the fact that my United supporting colleague assured me that they would beat Liverpool 7-1 with a Garnacho hattrick on Friday

One of the games in hand is Brighton V Newcastle - so they'd have to draw to put them both on 45 points, ahead of spurs by GD.

Brighton has Palace and Bournemouth. Newcastle has West ham. Liverpool has Chelsea.

Pencil in 2 out of 3 minimum going above Spurs. But Brighton also has another game getting delayed coming up against ManU.

Brighton have to fancy United on the form they're on, and they're at home.

I just mean that they are going to have more games to catch up on so it might take time for them to get up there.
