What I love about having never used DST is that during winter, the sun goes down around 5:30 pm and doesn't rise until around 7 am the following morning. I loving love the winter because of that. Dark mornings own. Now the sun is creeping over those eastern mountains earlier and earlier as we move into spring

Winter is standard time, not daylight savings time.
