I don't know about cold water being bad for you, seems like our ancestors likely drank from very cold water sources. But what I do know is the ice makers at restaurants rarely get cleaned. It's a huge pain because you have to shut them off, drain them, and clean every little corner. They are magnets for mold and hard water deposits. Other things that never get cleaned: soda lines, the little nozzles on the soda dispenser....

anime was right posted:this guy is right about what's happening but wrong about the conclusion: rent equivalent is far lower than rent because its estimated by people who are homeowners (payments stay pretty static compared to rent and a large amount of people dont even have mortgages), and for people who have mortgages, it doesn't factor in the cost of insurance. This was very useful, thanks.

fyi if any alcoholic you know gets hip surgery or has hip issues , excessive alcohol may cause this: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/avascular-necrosis/symptoms-causes/syc-20369859 happened to my alcoholic dad and probably why Eddie Van Halen had hip surgery.
