It was interesting being at one friend's house where their toddler watches Nick JR and sees advertising focused on children and families (toys, diapers, snacks, vehicles with child safety features), where another friend lets their toddler watch absolute garbage on Youtube and the ads are for insurance, makeup, and pharmaceuticals. Still, they would both go into a panic when commercials started. Web advertising is sold as being so refined but it's just spam with a cheaper price structure
