Yes, I've taken pens / pencils, a few sheets of paper, and a couple of notebooks. The pattern goes: 1. I'm in the office, and need some supplies 2. I use them, then stuff them in my laptop bag as I'm packing up to go home 3. I lose them at home somewhere 4. Repeat #1 next time I'm in the office

No OP that would be illegal and highly irregular for a professional such as myself.

used to work the ramp for an airline a long time back (for minimal figgies), took a fresh stack of those airplane emergency pamphlets home one time. i keep a set in the rear seat pockets of my car. i also pooped on company time once and wasn't thinking of anything productive during my session.

- a lovely dell laptop charger from my previous company 10 years ago as it turns out (I only discovered that pos among my old cables the other day) - I sort of reverse stole a webcam that my current employer shipped to my home during the pandemic which I never used and ended up bringing back to the office because I needed it (it's a pos that systematically freezes and shuts down 10 minute into every call)

at my first job the supply closet shared a wall with my manager’s office so anytime there was any good drama i’d go restock my notebook collection and eavesdrop

at my first job out of college at a megacorp, there had been some budget freeze once upon a time for office supplies that just never got undone (you could get $10K workstation class machines paid for, but a 79 cent box of pens would get auto-denied). so when people left the company, people would raid their desks to get office supplies. i think I still have an AT&T branded pocket screwdriver from one of those excursions, and maybe some pens. not sure those count as company property, though.

back at an old job i would just take $5 for lunch now and then out of the till (old enough job that $5 could buy lunch) and I always felt bad cause my boss was a chill bro but not too bad cause it wasn't a lot of money and he could afford it.
