This is my first time in a long time watching SNL live (on Peacock) and it fuckin sucks ten 5-to-30-second blasts for Peacock Real Housewife episodes or whatnot every break and I have no idea when it's gonna end I don't want to watch Bel Air NBC, please just try to sell me some kinda new tide pod instead

Oh yeah, another fun fact: This was the week that Vintage premiered! If you were watching Chris Pratt live that night almost nine years ago, it would have been preceded by Vintage S01E01, Richard Pryor with (no) Gil Scott-Heron (they cut both of his performances out; later in the season, they did a "part 2" of sorts, where they aired Pryor again with some stuff that didn't make the cut the first time, including Scott-Heron's performance of "Johannesburg" iirc.) We've come full circle!

I’m glad I’m not the only one who watched and thought it was hot garbage. Bailed out after update and was relieved I was watching on pvr so I could skip that mother sketch the second the fart happened as I’m sure nothing of importance was missed. Bowen killed on update at least.

JAJ getting meta in the opening sketch was pretty funny and Yangs Update segment was also good, but aside from that every sketch was embarrassingly bad (valet was fine imo). Probably the worst episode since Elon.

Fire Che and Joost as writers (this isn't a specific to this episode thing, they are just not that funny to me save writing each others joke skit.) I thought the super dry one not comedienne was pretty funny though.

My first impression was "oh cool, cold open that isn't a softball politics sketch" then they pulled the rug. Coulda been worse though. Like the really long fart joke sketch.
