If they're trying to be on the down low, isn't it risky to keep using their real last name? I thought they were registered under their adopted mom's name but I guess not. Especially with people noticing that they look like their mom it seems like a bad idea.

He wonders how he knows Ai's full name since no one's supposed to know that. Which in retrospect also explains why he himself didn't recognize her until she took her hat off, even though he'd been staring at her file with her name written on it.

2/3 of the episodes so far ends with a final shot of Kana Arima as the final cut. (not counting the long prologue episode) director knows who the best character is.

Something I appreciated from rewatching episode 4 is how you can see Melt gesticulating too much with his hands during the shoot. It really helps sell how lousy he is at acting.

As a manga reader, I'm not going to spoil anything per se, but I have to tell you that the despair isn't over. This series is loving despair on a stick, so much despair even Monokuma would blush. Next episode is gonna be lit. (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)

Glad Aqua and Kana were at least able to pull off the biggest scene that mattered for that live action adaptation. Most adaptations don't even get that fortunate.

Was halfway to screaming ONEGAI MUSCLE every goddamn flex. And the scene with Pieyon quipping about his earnings to get Kana around to his way of seeing things was exactly as expected.

Yeah I’ve been looking forward to how the anime does this, because it’s an extremely depressing and heavy, and unfortunately all to realistic, look at how social media will destroy someone’s life for the smallest thing.
