Tristesse posted:I loved my walkman because two AA batteries could last like 6 months of daily use vs my CD player that would eat 4 batteries an hour. In my experience, unless Walkman batteries were like 95% alive or better, the tape would sound all weird and slow, whereas the CDs in my Discman sounded completely normal until the batteries were completely dead. edit: Also, I never used a Discman that required more than two batteries or used them up extremely quickly. Did I just get lucky or something?

Cabbages and Kings posted:the tape is split down the middle, side A is on one side, side B is on the other. It's not on the front and back of the tape that would not work at all.  Good to know.
