I dreamt of pressing my face against a manhole cover just so I can have that good waffle pattern on my face

I�ve had folks roll up to a potluck with a waffle iron and a bunch of their family leftovers. They say they saw it online. Then they proceeded to make brown heated mush that is difficult to extract from the waffle iron. Their heart was waffle aligned but their brain was not.

I used to eat french toast with ketchup and thought that people putting powdered sugar and syrup on it were a weird anomaly. But no, as usual, it is me who is the weird anomaly.
I ate so much sugar as a child, I was like a coke fiend with sugar. I'd sneak in to my grandma's kitchen and find where she hid the icing sugar (yes she needed to hide it, I was a sugar junky) and eat spoonfuls of it. I think it ruined any sweet tooth I might have had as an adult and I always choose savory over sweet for snacks. I can't even eat more than like a bite of a glazed donut.
