Pretty much, though, I'm not sure how easy it will be to die in this game. IIRC the fighting fantasy ones can be very unforgiving.
In that case we ought to start out as a Troubador just to see how quickly Charisma turns into a worthless afterthought dump stat. We can change to someone good after our inevitable and probably-soon death.
