I used to hate leftovers but then I learned it was because my parents didn't take care of any of their cooking utensils or pots&pans and didn't wash anything properly and didn't store anything correctly in the fridge, and that it's not normal for leftovers to taste like rotten metal.

covidstomper58 posted:There are things which you absolutely can't eat as leftovers because the tinctures flatten. Generally these fall in to the categories of anything with lettuce, fried potatoes, and most sammiches especially but especially ones that have been toasted. Foods with a lot of nectars and juices like soups are just fine as leftovers. I hope this information helps. Toasted paninis are extremely good cold though

I do like cuban sandwich paninis and I always make an extra one to stick in the fridge b/c it rules having a cuban sandwich ready to go at any moment that you can just take a bite out of and be like "yum!" and leave the rest for later

Ok I won't do leftovers that got sealed in a seal-a-meal and thrown in the freezer for a week or two that poo poo is just inhumane. Maybe if it's vegetarian food but definitely nothing with meat.

Eating frozen burritos or McDonald's burgers is also inhumane
