Watched the D&D movie as well as John Wick on the plane. D&D is not necessarily a great movie, but better than it has any right to be. John Wick, on the other hand, kicks major rear end and I wasted 9 years of my life by not watching it till now.

Everyone involved in filming the marvel movies needs to go to jail for wasting Haley atwell, she was incredible in dead reckoning. Absolutely magnetic. mcquarrie has this gift of making an actress you've seen before and thought was totally fine but nothing special into a shining goddess who nukes everyone else off the screen (see also Vanessa Kirby in fallout).

Love Baragon even though he got killed pretty quick and wasn’t even included in the title, I wish they used him in more movies. The insane backstory with Godzilla being possessed by the spirits of innocent people killed by the Japanese military in WW2 and seeking revenge is insane lol, and a funny counterbalance to the previous movie which was super nationalist and had a flashback scene where an unmutated Godzilla saves a Japanese army squad from an American attack in WWII and then the aliens are revealed to actually be time-traveling foreigners trying to prevent Japan’s future economic dominance over the rest of the world. Some of the better fight and rampage scenes in the series too.

baragons super cool, i thought he'd come back for the big melee at the end nd was a little bummed he didnt. felt weird cheerin for ghidorah too and especially seein mothra do the mothra special for him. big thing for me is that its actually really funny, theres good jokes that fuckin land, pretty much everything yuris boss says is a laugh line. also cool watchin all those teen delinquents get fuckin smoked by baragon and mothra lol, feel like the on-screen body count for this ones higher than any ive seen other than like shin godzilla. real fuckin good movie
