In that thread, what other songs aren’t really crying out for a remix or cover? Lennon’s Imagine but dubstep? Second Wave Black Metal The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald? J-Pop Werewolves of London (uwuuuuuu werewolves of London)? Bonus points if you manage to find an example. Totally fine if you like the actual original or cover, ain’t no shame (maybe)

Ok so Eric loving Clapton did a cover (kind of) of a Yellow Magic Orchestra song, Behind the Mask. https://youtu.be/SG_SgsG1-_o Clapton’s version is technically a cover of a version that was supposed to go to Michael Jackson work out until later, when that demo was release (and it’s not terrible) However, Greg Phillinganes took it and turned it into a loving banger.
