Failed Imagineer posted:The vast majority of ads I've been served by twitter for the last few weeks have just been for TetraPak milk cartons. Just like...the concept of the TetraPak carton. My favourite part was when I would get a promoted tweet trying to sell me something, and before the video for the ad played, they play a different video ad first. So I click away and only end up tricked into seeing the first bits of the pre-advert. I'm sure I would be overjoyed if I were an advertiser paying a nazi to promote my business.

I think someone must have misheard someone say he was being anti semantic and then was too embarrassed to admit they'd made a mistake so just ran with him being anti semitic instead

Like I can't see it getting permission for a big money making housing estate? This basically happened with a local pub here, although the unlawful demolition was stopped partway. Instead we just had half-destroyed ruins for a couple of years, then they got the go-ahead and now we're getting a new old person's home. I still think it'll actually be expensive shoebox flats but who knows

I was very lucky to get back to Stansted last night, could have been a lot worse for me. And then someone pinched my debit card, again got lucky in bad circumstances as my bank realised and texted me so it could be cancelled before more than £15 had been used.
